Rough North Sea by lellie

Rough North Sea

Looking down Bent Hill to a very grey and choppy North Sea this morning.
This is a splendid shot, excellent composition with the sea glimpsed through the pretty gables and with the rather nice street lamp included. Very nicely done.

Great shot and the sky looks warm and blue but the sea seems to be telling a different story. Like the architecture, too!

@tishpics Thank you. The gables atre a bit of a feature round here, lots of them in Felixstowe. Probably down to Cotman who designed a lot of the major buildings, and the fact that Holland is just across the water and a lot of our architecture is Dutch influenced.
@quietpurplehaze Thanks, the sky was lovely in between the clouds but it was exceptionally windy and that stirred thge sea up. It didn't look very inviting :)

The sea does look very rough. I like the unusual shape of the buildings, I see one of them is a fish and chip shop, yum! Great shot.

Interesting PoV. Nice shot.

Beautiful composition which really gives a sense of the hill leading down to the sea. I like those curved lines on the buildings in the foreground.

Nice capture of the view - I don't think I'd go out for a pleasure cruise today...

Lovely shot. It's surprising how grey the sea looks against the blue sky. I haven't been along the coast today but the sea is likely to be as cold and choppy up here in the North East!

Great photo. Sunny with a rough sea, must be spring or autumn.
