End of the line

A part of the so-called "Duitse Lijntje" a railway track between Boxtel (Netherlands) and Wesel (Germany).

This track was also part of a railway which from 1881 to 1914 enabled passengers to travel from London to Berlin without transfers.

In 2004, after already large parts of the railway were closed, all railway traffic on this last part of the line was suspended. There were some plans to reinstate a service on the railway but I don't see it happen any time soon.
