This is my third attempt this week to try and capture light trails while driving the car. Wedged the tripod between the captain seats (behind drivers seats) of the van using both sets of seat belts to secure the tripod. Set camera to take a shot every 30 seconds.Monday not quite dark enough even with filter on lens and shutter speed not quite right. Tuesday a little later but still nothing. Tonight I played volleyball at 9:20 so I definitely had the right time and the shutter speed is getting closer. I also changed it the take a shot every 15 seconds. sooc
Wow! I am impressed with you ingenuity and your persistence. I think you got a great shot and I am so glad you weren't holding the camera and driving. That is a good way to get dead in your part of the world.
I'm with Katy--you are very clever and persistent. When I began reading I was worried you were trying to shoot with camera in hand. I want to try and capture light trails.
