Took Lisa with me to fill the feeders at Black Hills and roam the Lake. Spotted this little guy in the water from the parking lot. He was so little I thought maybe a shorebird. Couldn't believe our luck at all the shots we got of him. In the water, walking the shore and grass till he finally had enough and flew in a tree. Got that shot to. Once we were close enough he sure looked like a heron but he was so little compared to the Herons I have seen. He is a heron, a Green Heron.
