This months photo club challenge is a glass of water. Tonight at the meeting we all got a chance to practice.
We all got some very interesting shots after we got the setup and pouring right.

@lensenvy the set for this shot was pretty involved. This happened in one of the members light studio with a lot of help . After a lot of trial and error this was the final setup. Glass base clamped on a stand. Funnel lined up clamped on a stand. Light and large white defuser behind the glass. Camera on a tripod. Funnel filled with blue water , finger blocking hole. Camera set to take multiple shots . On the count of 3 I take pictures and another member releases colored water from funnel. I'm sure it was overkill but when you get a bunch of photographers together with plenty of equipment handy the fun begins....
