Family Tree

Went to fill the feeders at Black Hills and on the way into the park I passed this beautiful tree shining in the sunlight. So on the way out I pulled into the maintenance parking lot (closes place to park) and walked to the lovely tree. Took quite a few shots from different spots and angles. I loved how you could see it's branches from this one. Couldn't believe when I spotted my first butterfly in the tree.

it's so beautiful out and i'm at work. although i was out at lunch earlier and it was still quite cold because of the strong wind. aaargh! when is it going to be spring????

@summerfield I had a heavy sweater on and thankfully after three days of wind it was pretty calm out. It's coming we just have to be patient . Not my strong suit...

Beautiful tree - so symmetric. I like the way some of the blooms are in shadow and don't shine so you can really see the three-dimensional shape that way. Nicely done!
