It's always a surprise, pleasure and blessing when your flight home goes off without a hitch. We left just before sunrise and arrived in DC as the sun was setting.Pulled into the driveway to Christmas. UGH well at least it was very minimal. Spent the evening with Bob and the morning sleeping in, unpacking, and putting Christmas decorations away. Tomorrow my plan is to try and get back into my normal routine. It's good to be HOME.....
@darsphotos I know ...I was real worried since we left at 7 a.m. and there were delays the day before. We definitely had no time for a delay in our connecting flight. Lucky Us....
@lesip So glad it went so smoothly for the two of you. I learned something from you that I bet you used too, lens against the window to prevent glare. Did you do this in this shot and before you landed in DC?
@lesip Thanks, Leslie, such a great tip that I will use whenever I need to. Someone I follow here posted a photo on the plane she was on and you could see the people on the plane like what I could see in my photos at Coit Tower before you told me about this. I will mention this to her as well as it is great to know, not always possible but we can try to make it possible.
