Back to Arlington Cemetery we went to pick up the remembrance wreaths we helped place on the graves before Christmas. This was the cemeteries 150th anniversary and their goal was to be able to place a wreath on every grave last year.( It is all by donation and had never happened before) It didn't happen till the morning of the wreath laying but the governor of Maine stepped up and every grave received a wreath. I didn't sleep well last night listening to the pouring rain and the threat of it turning to snow but the early morning only brought drizzle and a cold mist. The turnout was amazing and in a matter of two hours all the wreaths were removed.
Dusted off my point an shoot and recharged the battery last night since I thought we'd we doing this in the pouring rain plus I really didn't want to be lugging my DSLR and all the wreaths.
