Took a field trip with a birding group out of Black Hill Park to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuse in Delaware. I wish these snow geese had been closer to us but they were way off in the distance. When they are all in the water it just looked like a sea of white. They took off two or three times during the day for whatever reason and then just all landed right back in the water. There are probably 20,000+ out there and they are an amazing sight to see although in these numbers they can really strip all the vegetation from the area. The bird migration is happening .....
