Let There Be Light

Not far from the National Christmas Tree sits the National Menorah. Sunday night was the first night of Chanukah so one candle was lit. The extra light, with which the others are lit, is called a shamash (Hebrew for attendant).
Beautiful! :-)

Nice composition. Both the Washington Monument and the Menorah look a tad tilted left

Beautiful shot! It's nice to know there is a National Menorah! Tonight I'm posting a shot of the menorah lighting ceremony we held in our little town.
