We had just taken a silly cellphone picture using my selfie stick when this gentleman asked if we would mind taking their picture. Bob comments no she hates taking pictures, can you tell as I reach for his phone. The girlfriend comments, oh I can't believe he asked you, he hates having his picture taken. Well, he pulls a ring box out of his pocket and she says OMG.... I quickly hand his phone to Lisa and pull up my REAL camera. It was pretty exciting and they seemed like a wonderful fun couple who have been together for 5 years.😍😍 So they have pics on his phone and I will be sending them the ones I got.
@grammyn he mentioned he couldn't decide where he was going to do it in New Orleans. He thought about maybe earlier while they were on the swamp tour. LOL
I think this was a better choice . He wanted something that would say New Orleans and the steamboat's in the background too.
@lesip I noticed the steamboat in the background and thought that was a nice touch but still not sure about the jester! Definitely beats the swamp though!
What a great story! They will forever cherish your kindness. I like the little volleyball his knee is on. I too think it's interesting he chose to propose here. Haha! Glad you got ones on your camera for them!
