I will not scratch, I will not scratch !!! Even using Deep Woods Off with Deet I have so many mosquito bites from being in the sunflower fields at dawn and dusk. Maybe next year I need to buy one of those hats with the mesh to cover my face. I'm not putting Off on my face.
Outside the sunflower field there are patches of wildflowers (weeds). I really like how the blueish wildflower is blurred because it's so close to the lens.
This is such a pretty shot, Leslie. I love the soft colors and the pretty little yellow bird. If you are sensitive to mosquitos you can take Vitamin B complex. Dan is very allergic so he takes B Complex as it sours the blood. FAV
@maggiemae I will have to goggle mosquito cream I've never heard of it. It's so hot and humid here right now I'm afraid it would get in my eyes. Maybe it doesn't bother the eyes?
@darsphotos oh Darlene thanks so much I will definitely be picking up some tomorrow. I believe I must be some what allergic since they swell up so bad and seem to take days and days to go away..
@lesip It is called, "Sawyer Family Insect Repellent" and the directions say "keep away from the eyes; and all the rest but it does have good information. I found it not a problem and it kept the mosses from biting my eyelids!
@lesip I hope it works, Leslie. Dan swells up so big so fast and does not anymore. Let me know how it works for you. Not sure if it is an instant fix though. Maybe give it a few days or a week to work. Dan just said he actually doubled what he usually takes when he went camping recently. He takes one tablet a day and if he is going to be around them, then ups it to two a day. Ask your Dr as it should be ok unless you are ok just taking it.
