Going to the Thanksgiving Macy's Day Parade has been on my bucket list forever. I always host Thanksgiving at my house so last year while everyone was sitting around the table I let them know I wouldn't be hosting this Thanksgiving. Bob is not one for large crowds and arriving 3 hours before the start of things the get a prime spot. He was happy when my sister jumped at the chance to go with me. It's now off my list and we had a wonderful couple of days in New York City even saw Fiddler On The Roof and Cats while we were there.
@kwind 3 million people were the estimate in attendance . I was able to watch out my hotel window to check when I would head down. People started lining the street around 5am but I heading down at 6:30 for the 9am start. The parade didn't actually make it to our spot till 9:45.
