Red Barn by lifepause

Red Barn

Tossed away broken bottles, cigarette butts, and paper line the edge of the state line highway.
Across the pavement a flooded field with striking reflections of the trees that any other week stand alone and dry.
A red barn is tattered and disguarded too, once a working farm hovel to working animals.
Only time has removed the purpose.
The picture your words share is just as beautiful, Jae! Both are fantastic! Thanks! Fav for sure!

Your writing paints a beautiful scene............and love the barn, battered places are so much more photographic than shiny new!

Nicely low key, creates an atmosphere.

Excellent photo to illustrate your words, Jae! It immediately brought to mind a photo I'd posted, now 2 years ago... http://365project.org/Weezilou/album-excess/2012-08-11 I saw it again before leaving in December and they've had a wretched winter, so it looked desperate at last sight, and by now, I'm sure it's gone...

Oh this is a joyous capture. The low light gives it a warm moody feel

Looks like it's trying so hard to stay upright. It is in need of a make over.
