This is what many Bangkok apartments look like from the outside, or at least the older ones. (Ours however does not look like this). I like all the cheery colours, the plants and the guy sweeping down in the right corner. This place might look a little rough around the edges but is seems people love their little homes here and try to make them cozy. There is one balcony near this place that has caught my eye the few times I’ve walked by – it is a great blue colour and with lots of little plants in soda cans, maybe I’ll take a photo of that one of these days :)
Other than I’m feeling a wee bit lonely as Martin has left on a trip with his uni to Hua Hin (a beach town some hours south of Bangkok) he left yesterday morning and he’ll be home tomorrow night. Looking forward to him getting back, it does feel a bit lonely to be all alone in a new, big city where I don’t know anybody yet. I have been exploring our neighborhood a bit, I’ve found a place where I want my nails done, they did really cute designs! Also found a place that does really good smoothies, had a Mix Berry this evening – yum yum :) Still looking forward to seeing Martin again tomorrow!
