I agree, their moment has come and a beautiful display they make. Would make a great hide in a nude photograph, well for those slim girls anyway. You would need a great bush for me. (Ops that sounds rude as well), perhaps I should have said shrub.

Ah, I love these flowers, not at all weeds to me. Wonderful memories...my daughters used to bring them for me to put into vases with their little chubby hands all stained. Thanks for the memories and this lovely photo.
BTW, I am totally jealous! I have no idea if ours will ever come out from under the feet of snow still remaining. :-(
