When I first took this capture of the back stairs leading from a bedroom to the parlor, I thought it was a bit creepy. Then the auctioneer introduced the sellers as the owner's grandchildren, who had spent many Christmases in the house. Suddenly, this photo was scary at all - I could see the children dashing down these stairs to see what Santa had left for them. Can you see it, too?
