I awoke in the middle of the night last night and suddenly it occurred to me that the previous day had been the dog’s birthday, and we had forgotten to celebrate. I had difficulty falling back to sleep because I felt guilty, although the dog seemed unbothered by it as he slept soundly at the foot of the bed. To make it up to him I went to the Three Dog Bakery and picked out some special treats. Trust me they don’t taste half as good as they look and don’t you dare ask me how I know that. Anyway, happy 9th birthday Eddie. I have a feeling he’ll forgive me.
Don't tell Carlos that Eddie gets bakery treats on his birthday! They look delish! Although, I will trust you that they do not taste as good as they look. Thanks for testing that out for us... ;)
reminds me a friend said they asked their young son why he had eaten some cat food... his answer... because it tastes better then dog food.
