This lightning bug’s last and worst decision was to sit on the inside edge of a panel in our garage door while the door was open. Or more specifically it was not flying away as it was being closed Either way, it’s lights out for Mr. Firefly. He definitely won’t be making that mistake again.
@ldpaul Never? Around here they’re a sign of summer and by mid-June they arrive in multitudes blinking themselves silly in the dark. It’s a childhood ritual to spend summer evenings chasing them. I will admit that even after having been around them my whole life, they have not lost their magic.
