I love to geocache, but haven’t done it in awhile. My daughter and her friends recently started doing it for some cheap entertainment. After I begged her, Katy and I went together today and hunted for a few. There are many things I enjoy about geocaching, but one of the best aspects is finding parks and other interesting places in my own backyard that I never knew existed. Today we found a small, wooded park we’d never visited before, tucked into an area between neighborhoods. I believe it is the national breeding grounds for mosquitos and spiders. We also found one in an office park that had signs saying that the were video cameras monitoring it. I wonder if they recorded me traipsing through the ornamental grasses to get to the inner branches of a pine tree?
Wonderful shots. I've heard so much about geocaching and one of these days I'm going to have to get in the game. It sounds like so much fun...with the possible exception of the mosquitos and spiders. :)
we LOVE Geocaching.. . isn't amazing the wonderful places that are right in your backyard. We also love to load the caches in the GPS for places we visit, it is always great to find the local places you wouldn't otherwise find ~ this is an awesome collage!!!!
Nice collage- I'm with Barbara though-never heard this term before, so I'll have to look it up. It's good to learn something new everyday. Keeps the brain cells firing.
