We spent two days at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana attending my daughter’s freshman orientation. During the orientation we learned about Herman B Wells who served as president at IU for twenty-five years and was a pivotal figure in making IU what it is today. We were told that if we shook the hand of Mr. Wells, our students were sure to get good grades. Bill thought he’d go to the extra mile just in case.
