We went to visit our friends who live on a beautiful property way out in the middle of nowhere. I took many pictures all evening, but just as we were contemplating going home I saw the reflection of the moon on the pond. I almost decided to skip the opportunity to take a picture as I didn’t feel like dragging out my gear again, but I’m glad I went ahead and took the picture anyway.
I took a couple similar shots the other night as well when I noticed the reflection of the moon on the canal. It must've been an exceptionally bright moon! Mine weren't as interesting, tho, too many telephone wires and what-not cluttering it up, yours is lovely!!
that was me last night, not wanting to drag out my gear...not even sure what settings to use. Glad you did so now i can stalk your settings and maybe give it a shot ;) This is gorgeous!
@tnamari If I had it to do over I might try a faster shutter speed so that the moon was a crisp circle. I don't know if it would work or not, but I do think the moon wood look better that way.
