I play Mah Jong every Tuesday as some of you may know.
Well I thought I would get our set out & have a look at it. We bought this about 35 years ago from the local Trading Post Paper.
It is so beautiful, I love the grain in the tiles & the old symbols etched in them.
The set came in a hand made wooden box complete with the original book of instructions on how to play. Some of the scoring paper had "The South East India Company" on the heading.
We treasure it. I weighs about 4lb.
This game is quite complex, but once learned, needs to be played on a regular basis. The ladies I play with play very fast. We play every Tuesday from 10am to 3.30pm with a break for lunch & I don't like to miss a day.
If you can play cards, you can master Mah Jong.
