This is a photo of Alastair. This quietly spoken octogenarian tends the War Memorial in our local Springwood Park, most days of the week.
His partner Chris is a lovely lady & is often with him. They have planted many "rosemary" bushes for ANZAC Day in honour of their sons & relatives who died in past wars & replace them as they die off. They water them regularly.
Alastair served in the forces & became a Veterinarian afterwards. He always has a look over Jay when we walk her.
