First bloom!

I followed my Mom's directions for beautiful orchids and it worked!! Here's the first bloom and instructions: 1.South/ West window. (Not near the window- IN the window- as much sun as possible! 2. Water once a week. That's it!!

What a gorgeous orchid! And it looks like many more happy blooms are on their way. I'm going to take the advice shared and see if I can't get my little orchid plant to be happier. I know the lack of sunshine for the last six weeks has not helped. Perhaps I also need to be watering it more frequently than I do.
