Today was extremely busy and had no time for a photo. This was taken a couple weeks ago when there were oak leaves still on the trees!
I just got a call from my dear sister Betty who left to go back to Colorado today. She needed to change planes in Dallas but her flight is cancelled because of snow in Colorado. They say the next available flight is 24 hours from now- but maybe 36 hours! I found her jacket in my car after dropping her off at the airport and they won't give her the bag she checked! Oh my it's going to be a long 24 hours.
Such beauty in the colors and patterns of this oak leaf. It almost looks like you took this with a Lensbaby lens — there's lots of bokeh and softness but good focus in a primary spot. (My parents live in CO and are expecting 6-8" tonight, with wind, which doesn't sound promising for your sister. How awful to be stuck in an airport.)
