Desperate for a photo today, I brought the tulips outside and held them up to the sunset. They were translucent and almost glowing.
We visited George in the hospital today. It's just under a 2 hour drive so we carpooled with other family members. Poor George was sick and tired of his feeding tube so he pulled it out this morning! The speech therapist gave him some tests to see whether he could manage swallowing- but he failed them all. He'll have to have a tube inserted directly into his stomach. George's cardiologist is very happy with how he's healing from the value replacement and his blood pressure is under control!
The lighting behind these tulips is just beautiful. Made a lovely shot. Glad to hear George is making progress with the blood pressure - now hopefully the swallowing issue will soon resolve.
Gorgeous shot. Glad to hear that some of George's problems are solved, but still bad news about his tongue and swallowing. Do they think it will repair itself?
Had to back track to read up about George. An unusual traction & quite scary! Hope he continues to improve. I like this upright tulips & their centres!
