Broken Orchids

Good news and bad news....
There are lots of photos I took of my Mom with her gorgeous orchids and after she passed we each were able to bring one of the plants into our homes. That was the good news... now the bad news...
As I was gently moving a branch heavy with blossoms, it broke off! If that wasn't sad enough I did it again the next day with my own little yellow orchid! So I put them in water hoping they'll last a week or so. Yikes!
I'm hoping I haven't stopped them from blooming again!
