Winter Orange by loweygrace

Winter Orange

We were able to take a long walk today with temperatures finally above 25°F! The only issue was the salted sidewalks and streets that burned Lucy's feet. She limped part of the way until we were able to walk in the snow to help wash it off. At one point we came across a snowy field covered with hundreds of geese grazing...Lucy had fun chasing them but I got her out of there when I noticed she was eating their poop.... ugh!
Beautiful capture and composition ! fav

Winter snows produce such wonderful images. I can only dream of such delights as I swelter here in my dining room...and today is a "cooler" day.

Poor Lucy hope her feet are better. You will have to get her some doggie boots. Don't know how to solve the poop problem though.

I see berries like this and wonder what makes them hold on to their stems so tightly. All the snow that's been on them you would think would cause them to come loose. Nice that they didn't — you got a pretty picture with them.
