The nests are easy to see with all the leaves off the trees but are usually too high to get a good photo. I was happy to find this little nest which was snug in the center of a bush, but was a little difficult to reach! Poor Lucy just sat, watched and waited for me- probably wondering what I was doing!
Despite all the weather, this nest is holding together so good. Robins (I'm assuming that's who built this) are amazing engineers! It looks like, come spring, there'll be lots of leaves around this nest, giving it plenty of privacy. Wonder if it will be used again.
