The boy who made me a Mom!
You may think I have a crazy look on my face...well, I was a little!! I had Josh in Japan at a time when the rule was the baby would be taken immediately to the nursery for 24 hours after birth.The parents were not permitted to touch the baby because of germs...so my plan was to grab the baby out of the doctor's hands... if I was able. Here I am triumphant! A second later they swooped him out of my hands. I was able to hold baby Josh again just 12 hours later after my husband raised a fuss!
Fantastic choice for the day's picture! It's a beautiful moment captured on Polaroid!! Amazing tho, the practice of taking the baby away for 24 hours. That's just terrible. Horray for your husband, making a fuss. Happy Mother's Day to you, Lois.
