Found out the gaillardia is in the sunflower family. I love sunflowers!
My daughter & future son-in-law had to cancel their wedding plans because of the virus last April and gave us the news that they’ll be married Oct 3rd! They’ve chosen a nearby farm for a little celebration with just the parents and grandparents as witnesses. They’re so happy- we could hear it in their voices!
I think small weddings are much nicer. Never see the point of hundreds of people to celebrate a wedding. It is the marriage that is important not the wedding. There were 10 guests at our wedding 50 years ago.
Excellent news Lois & a small wedding is just about the promises & vows...sometimes wedding planning can get out if control on every level...you lose the true meaning. Hope that enjoy their time up to the wedding & you all have a wonderful time.
