72 Miles

We drove to Las Vegas today for a trade show my husband’s attending the next few days. It was a four hour drive from our town and very flat. I was taking this photo to show the long stretch of road in the distance and noticed the sign showing 72 miles to Las Vegas.

That sure is a long road ahead and could easily be one of our country roads. Such a vast expanse of land.
