@ingrid_marianna Thanks Ingrid. The technique is called "intentional camera movement". So rather than the lights moving you move the camera. I took the picture just after sunset down the street. I stopped down the aperture to f/32, mostly so I could take a longer exposure (2.5 seconds) and only the lights would be visible. The bigger lines are closer lights and the fainter lines are lights that are further away. Normally you get smooth lines but I think these are gas lights and I get what looks like strands of beads. Hope this makes sense.
