This was such an 'amazing' sunset, it was the major topic of conversation in the office the next morning! And where was I ?? ... cooking dinner in the kitchen (with east facing windows). When I finally noticed the light, & grabbed the camera, I realised why I have never taken a sunset shot from my house -- I can't see anything much through the trees! :(
The 'strip' of coloured cloud sandwiched across the sky was fascinating, and I have now read a little about why clouds at different heights don't turn red simultaneously at sunset http://www.hko.gov.hk/education/edu06nature/ele_cloudcolours_e.htm

Anyway, ...here is a not particularly creative shot, (which is not colour enhanced), posted as reminder that sometimes getting any shot using the 'wrong' lens and the 'wrong' white balance is better than not getting the shot at all. :D
