I was enthusiastic to try some more layer practice, until I was informed that the data on my external hard drive is not retrievable. So much work to re-create and several files lost forever. In the last six months I have had my laptop, router modem, and now an external drive fail...bummer indeed!
so...I am sorry all, this is as good as it gets for today. 'sigh' :(
Lovely shot(s). Sorry about the the drive. You may want to consider a small UPS (uninterruptable power supply). It will do more than a surge protector especially for sagging voltages.

The IT guys want me to consider an industrial strength dual back up now.. have not considered the power supply issue, so I might ask about it....thanks.
Sorry about all of your lost work. Technology can be great but also very frustrating when things go awry. Hoping you can get your issues resolved shortly and find some new inspiration. Hang in there.
