the lightness of just 'being'

Friday: "...bother, it's 8:25 PM & I have no photo, and no ideas....It's late, it's been a long week, and I am tired and not in the mood..... Why force myself, no-one will know or care...OK just do something and see what happens...(click/woosh/beep)..... well, they are pretty dismal...this project is too tough...I have too many challenges in my life at the moment......and my photos suck..."

Saturday: " Oh I see Chris Wang has made the top 20 and finished his project. ( http://365project.org/chriswang/365/2012-07-10) Better check in, I haven't seen his work for a while.......I have always respected his work... ...mmm....OK, seems I have to check back quite a way to start putting the pieces of the story together here ... .....ahhhmmm,... http://365project.org/chriswang/365/2012-04-22 ...oh my...."

Chris has undertaken, and shared, his very personal journey with such great courage and dignity, I need to re-calibrate my 'tough' week.

A small LED string from the $2 store - no fancy star filters, just lens flare.

Isn't it great that this project, while it fuels a creative outlet, can still make you understand the fragility of life and how we fit in it. Great shot.

Lovely description of a lack of inspiration day. I am constantly blown away by some of the people and their honesty on here and their amazing stories and how they still manage to give us something (chris is one of them)
They never fail to inspire me. Re-calibrate, what a great word for it :)
