My get-pushed challenge from Miss Mercy (@missmercy) this week was to tempt her with shiny pretty things - "jewellery, crystal and copper and their beautiful sparkles and reflections" as she loves looking at, and collecting these objects.
This family heirloom is in it's original German made leather jewellery box which is marked "J.M. Wendts Adelaide" (the capital of South Australia).
That's beautiful and definitely something I would like in my collection. You're very lucky to own such a gorgeous piece.

@missmercy yes this one is in the satin lined box (I should have removed the dust!) - I took 80 shots with various backgrounds, but I liked this the best. It was suprisingly difficult to get the lighting right to really showcase the gems, and will keep working on the lighting. I have actually worn this piece only once as I am scared it could fall off.
