a life far removed by ltodd

a life far removed

I was a little less overwhelmed by the constant traffic noise, the smog and congestion of life in the Hanoi Old Quarter on day two.
This intersection is just three blocks from our lovely hotel, a complex neighbourhood with a pervading sense of the daily battle for survival.
best view enlarged if you have the time.

@redpants Hi Sue - yes, incredibly we could hear the trains at night from our hotel room - three blocks away. Not an inch of space is wasted anywhere.
