Cheeky Monkey

During the morning walk, I spotted the below on the overhead electric wires. I only had the standard 28 -70 mm lens on so thought that if I changed lenses then I would probably lose the creature. I took a couple of shot by which time it was hiding in the wires.

I then changed the lens and took more including this with a 100 400 mm lens and was pleased with the results.

Do they mess up the wires? Over here, we have wild javelinas (a type of boar) that chew through wires sometimes.

This is the first time I have seen one here. It did not seem to be moving or disturbing any of the wires, so hopefully no.
