We don't have a cat or dog anymore so my "pets" are the squirrels in our back yard. They still run away but aren't so afraid of me lately since I've been feeding them well! I call every one of them Squirrely... and I have been known to talk to them!
Great photo! We just put up a birdfeeder and I've only seen squirrels come by. I don't mind at all. I could watch them eat for hours. They're so cute and rather sweet.
@lynnz Aww, when I was in college, the squirrels were so well fed on campus that they came right up to you to take food. Sweet little things. Your husband will come around.
This is such a cute shot. Your story reminds me of when I was in college and the people who parked the cars (small campus...tandem parking) had a "pet" squirrel that would sit on the seat and eat peanuts with them during the colder months!
Thanks for the lovely dreamy photo, I'm sitting in 45 degree or 113 fahrenheit heat (in the shade lol) wishing and dreaming of a white christmas, maybe next year I might get to take a photo just like this one...cross your fingers lol!
