@khawbecker I would be happy to share the name of the motel but I'm not sure I would recommend it!! It's pretty old but it was clean. I had to go buy a hair dryer because there wasn't one in the bathroom! There is also a railroad track right next to it. We decided to just go for the adventure of staying right on the river! It is Holiday Shores Motel in McGregor. I think they are building a new addition but it isn't open yet.
We saw a nice looking place in Marquette but it wasn't right next to the river. There are more up scale places in Prairie Du Chien WI right across the river too.
It looks so peaceful. How nice to be right on the water! Unless....is it slightly flooded? The base of the tree line seems a little submerged....I'd definitely go for a hotel on stilts. :)
