I see you are an insulator collector! I used to work for the telephone company and you would't believe how many of these we used to throw into the hole where we pulled an old pole when tearing down an old open wire lead. These insulators went on cross arms to keep the bare copper wire from touching and shorting out. The most expensive ones (collector wise) were the two piece insulators.
@skipt07@rickster549 Enjoyed your comments about the insulators. My husband has had 10 or 12 forever. I don't even know where he got them. Throwing the insulators away is like all the barbed wire my husband's family and other farmers throw away, and now people make crafts out of barbed wire and get ridiculous prices for it. Someone told me to put little candles under the insulators, that they make lovely little lights. I should try that sometime... can always take a picture of them! Thanks for your comments!
