I see two ants. Our youngest granddaughter bought her mother a peony for Mother's Day. We told her a year or two ago that they needed ants for the buds to open. We were concerned that the ants wouldn't find it this year, but they did. Nicely composed!
Ah, now I see it is an ant on the other image. Wonderful colour and focus. @skipt07 I did not know that ants were needed to open the buds of peonies. Amazing what you learn on here.
