Sad Day

Our beautiful ash trees were cut down today because they were infested with ash borer and dying. I will miss them a lot!
Oh lovely collage to show off these beautiful trees.............they would have provided some nice shade!

Beautiful shots. I'm sorry about your Ashes. We lost our 2 Ash Trees a couple of years ago. Also lost a 90' Tulip Poplar this year to another borer.

Sorry about your trees; they are beautiful in these photos. The ash borer has done a lot of damage in Michigan too...some neighborhoods lost a lot of trees

I am sooo sorry. The trees looked wonderful too! I hope you can replant some beautiful trees to take their place, maybe Red Maples? I love my neighbors trees that I can see from the backyard.

I'm so sorry Lynn. It's tough. They are living things that you love and they give you such beauty. They were gorgeous and I'm sure you will replace them with trees that will be equally as lovely in a few years.
