and so windy I had trouble getting the car door open to get out! (it's a snow covered farm field, and mixed in with the weeds are soybean plants that didn't get harvested)
@lyndemc Not looking forward to even colder temperatures, that's for sure! It's snowing here again and they're saying it's going to warm up through the night and we might get freezing rain before the big cold front hits.
wow - when I realized this was snow - this shot took on a completely different feel for me - more ominous as opposed to when I thought it was sand. Great shot.
This is such a beautiful winter scene! At first glance, I thought that you took this photo at the beach ...upon reading your comments, I realized that this is wind-swept snow!
You have captured that feeling of cold very well wiith the contrast of blue sky and white fields. The lone pylon adds to a bleak feel too. The weeds give good foreground interest showing the wind blow and the lines across the field give more feel to the snow.
