Not the clearest picture, but I wanted to post it anyway. This beauty was missing a pretty big chunk of one wing, and its wings never stopped fluttering even when it was landed on different flowers.
Butterflies turn out quite tricky to photograph. You did mange to get some of the details nicely sharp and that's the point, I think - the balancing combination of the blurred and the sharp.
Great shot. Know what you mean about never stopping the wing flutter. It's amazing how some of them can still keep flying with such large chunks out of the wing.
