Looks like a beautiful flower. I guess it’s a weed because you don’t want it where it is or because it’s invasive. Love that you used it for a great photo op. Beautiful shot. I love the diagonal comp, the focus and the dof.
@shutterbug49 Thanks so much for your nice comment! I called it a weed because I'm not sure what it is and it's growing in a ditch along a country road. My guess is that it's Queen Anne's Lace. I should get that app that identifies plants but I don't want to pay for it!
@lynnz Obsidentify is a free app on the iPhone. Used it an the white insect on our front door. And it gave the same result as a friend of my who knows a lot more of insects and plants than I do.
