This isn't a full moon, but when I let the cats in the back door, the moon was shining so bright and had an orangey color, I decided to take this. I don't take very many pictures of the moon. The pictures always look the same and boring to me unless there are clouds around it to add interest!
Love the color. Hope it doesn’t mean you have smoke in the air. When our moon is orange it is usually because we are getting smoke from the foothill fires.
You can also feel that the color is very special, but a tree branch, a part of a building, a tower or anything else in the foreground would have made the shot even more interesting.
