My husband Keith doesn't really want to go to the fair since he had hip replacement surgery, but he suggested that we go for half of a day so I could see the photography exhibits. I loved it!
Fabulous collection of images. Our Ekka is being held at the moment in Brisbane, it is a great showcase for the primary producers, plenty of exhibits, rides and show bags :-)
@elaine55 No, I didn't enter any photos. I always think about it and gather all of the information on the themes etc, but haven't ever entered anything. Maybe some day!
How very fun, and this collage presentation reflects your experience so well . . . a smattering in a condensed time span. I lived in Iowa for five years and never made it to the state fair. I see I've missed out on a fun photo opportunity!
Looks like you got an awful lot in during your half day! What a neat selection of shots. State Fairs are like zoos with so many photo ops everywhere you look.
